Catalonia Gran Via Madrid Hotel

Amazing place with friendly staff, great wi-fi, and a lovely outdoor pool. On my first visit, they helped me find a lost jewel, which I still remember. I can't wait to return for a romantic escape.

The location is very good. Very attentive staff. Good quality bed linen. Good internet.

The rooms are in need of repair.

The weather was pleasant, had excellent stay on business trip. I liked the room, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom was absolutely clean and it had a hairdryer, terry robes and slippers for my convenience. The hotel's location was marvellous and charming on the internal yards. Further, it was close enough to Madrid from Alicante for one night for a concert, shops, restaurants & bars, and restaurants for drinks...

The hotel staff was very unpolite.

no air conditionning ....could only got some heat from the room control panel. Guess it may be because we are still in winter ;)

Great location, loved the friendly staff. Wi-fi was spotty at times.

Everything was perfect, it's fairly clean and fabulous hotel. The atmosphere was family and the staff were exceptional. In overall the room was neat and fashionable and with tea as well as decent view out back. The breakfast food including slices of fresh bread and pastries was fresh. The location was magnificent, just 5 minutes walk from a State - owned art museum. The property was set in a nice area.

The rooms are quite comfortable, although I would have preferred to have climate control in the room. Since it was 13 degrees outside, the hotel had already switched on the central heating, so there was no possibility of turning on air conditioning in the room. So we slept with the windows open. Since it was a nice temperature outside, there was good ventilation in the room and was quite cool for sleeping. The room was good and very comfortable, and since the room has no carpet, the hotel is an excellent option for allergy prone guests. The breakfast buffet was great.

The pillows were too small and hard.

The staff was very nice, rooms big and very clean. We enjoyed the bar area every night before going for dinner.
